Talented Player Program
Throughout the year the Tennis Coaching Team visit local schools to take tennis to children who do not normally get the chance to play. In addition, the coaches 'spot' gifted children and recommend further training in the Development Squads or The Academy Training Scheme.
Development Squads
For children looking to develop their tennis beyond the average once a week commitment, the Development Squads offer training in a smaller squad environment. Players must train at least twice a week and enter tournaments regularly.
If you would like your child assessed for the Development Squads please contact our Junior Tennis Co-ordinator Debbie Butland on 01823 285983 or email to d.butland@toneleisure.com.
The Academy Training Scheme
The Academy Scheme is a training programme for players aged 6 to 18 years who show outstanding tennis potential and who are committed to training and making tennis their number one sport. The two Academies are:
Mini Academy
For players aged approximately 6 to 11 years. If you would like your child assessed please contact our Head Coach Simon Woodhill on 01823 285983 or email to s.woodhill@toneleisure.com
Junior Academy
