Ivybridge Silver Jubilee 30th April 2012
Wednesday, 18 April 2012 Tone Leisure and Ivybridge Leisure Centre will be celebrating the centre’s 25th Anniversary on 30th April 2012. Events are planned throughout May culminating in a Giant Childrens’ party on Sunday 27th May. Members of the public are being invited to contribute any old photos that they may have taken at the centre over the last 25 years to be part of a visual display that is being put up for the period of the celebration. When the Torch comes to Totnes
Wednesday, 18 April 2012 The Olympic Torch is due to pass through Totnes on Sunday 20th May, the second day of its nationwide travels on the road to London. To celebrate the event, and get everyone in the mood, Tone Leisure, Totnes and District Swimming Pool and the Army Cadet Centre at Borough Park are holding the Tone Leisure Olympic Super-Teams event from 9:00am. What a Glorious Day at Dartmouth Sport Relief!
Wednesday, 18 April 2012 The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile held at Tone’s Dartmouth Leisure Centre on Sunday 25th March saw over 120 local people to come together and take part in the 1, 3 and 6 mile challenges. At 10:00 the event started with a Zumba® Olympics session run by Sophie Carr, Zumba Instructor, which was enormous fun and a great warm-up for the event itself.
