Quayside Leisure Centre dives into the Worlds Biggest Fundraising Swim

Thursday, 2 February 2012 Swimmers in Kingsbridge will dive into the world’s biggest fundraising swim at Quayside Leisure Centre on Saturday 28th April. They will take on one of the five Swimathon Weekend 2012 challenges, raising money for either Marie Curie Cancer Care or Sport Relief.  In addition children will take part in aid of the charity from 3-5pm as part of a distance badge event to gain their badge and certificate. Ivybridge FGF and Children in Need

Tuesday, 22 November 2011 Ivybridge Feel Good Factory has raised over £280 for Children in Need by holding a 12 hour Toneathon. 70 lady members of the club took part and others contributed to the giant raffle. "It was a wonderful collective effort" said Emma Gibson, Feel Good factory supervisor. "It was great to be a part of it. We're looking forward to exceeding our total next year!"

Mendip Health Walks programme gets new support from Tone
