Vivary Golf Course

Vivary Golf telephones and bookings are now working. Our apologies for the recent inconvenience.

The Vivary Golf Course is situated at Fons George within Vivary Park/Wilton Lands complex and comprises eighteen holes, par sixty-three-parkland course measuring
4,620 yards. Although relatively short, the course presents a challenge to players of all standards as the small greens, numerous bunkers, and water hazards and out of
bounds areas demand continual concentration.

Situated in the heart of Taunton, its great location makes it easily accessible. With affordable membership options and casual pay and play golf available at all times of opening, you can simply ring and book a tee time, and we can even provide you with
the equipment.

The 18-hole mini golf area was refurbished in 2009 and is set alongside the main
course.

Mini Golf
Our 18 hole mini golf course is both challenging and great fun for all the family. Try to putt you ball around, through and over various obstacles and see who makes the lowest score.

Mini golf is open from 8am until 1 hour before our closing time (times vary throughout the year) and no booking is required.Discounts for children and seasoned citizens.

Practice facilities
We have a lovely practice range in the middle of the course where members or golfers having lessons can improve their skills. Play from mats when it's wet or from real grass during the season. Pitching/pitching green and bunker also available as well as dedicated putting green for practice and warm up.

Sandwedge Cafe
The Sandwedge Cafe produces a fantastic range of freshly prepaired snacks and beverages. Providing an exciting range of Ice Creams, freshly ground coffee, warm and cold Sandwiches and much more! Seasonal variations on products offered for sale.
NEW - indoor seating now available. Come in from the cold and have a freshly ground cup of coffee, or hot chocolate, or steaming tea - and perhaps a tempting cake as well!

Equipment hire
If you don't have your own equipment you can still play by hiring a half set from us.

Buggy available
Either for disabled golfers or simply for those who fancy a bit of luxury for their game.

Shop (balls/tees available)
The pro shop supplies the basics you will need to tee up your ball and enjoy your round.

How much does it cost?
Our standard green fee is just £15.50 on a weekday or £17.50 at a weekend but you could play 18 holes from as little as *£8! When you see the quality of our golf course, you will understand what great value for money this really is.
