Job Description
Churchill Sports Centre require an Assistant Manager/Customer Service Advisor on a permanent basis. This is a split role comprising of dual shifts between the role of Assistant Manager (15 hours) and Customer Service Advisor (22 hours). Your role as Assistant Manager will involve you directly contributing towards the management of the facility and maximising participation and customer satisfaction by offering a creative, comprehensive programme of activities, catering for the whole community. You will be on rota as a Duty Manager working some evenings and weekends.
As Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for the provision of an effective sales service; dealing with administrative front of house duties; lifeguarding; assisting with the organisation of the day to day activities in the centre; communicating on a daily basis with the relevant Assistant / Centre Manager and members of the front of house and fitness teams as required.
An NPLQ qualification is essential and you will need to be flexible and may on occasions be required to assist with opening/closing the building when ad hoc cover is required.
