Nordic Walking Instructors

£18 per hour

4 hours per month (subject to demand)

Tone Leisure has submitted an application for funding to help establish a Nordic Walking programme in Taunton Deane.

Should the application be successful, Tone will require two Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructors to train as Nordic Walking Instructors and provide taster sessions, courses and an ongoing programme of adventure walks for varying fitness levels and abilities*.

Nordic Walking is the fastest growing fitness activity in the world! It’s a whole body workout done in the great outdoors and can be done by people of any age or fitness level whatever your goal. As a Nordic Walking Instructor you must enjoy walking in all weathers, be able to build rapport with customers, up-sell courses and be enthusiastic about teaching people to learn the skill.

Ideally you will have already participated in Nordic Walking and have previous experience of teaching groups. A Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification is essential.

* Subject to the application being granted, the successful candidates will be required to attend a 2-day training course in September.
