About Us
Tone Leisure is a progressive Leisure Trust with Charitable status providing benefits to local authorities and improving customer experience in local leisure facilities in the South West. Benefits we bring to local authority partners include; subsidy savings, increased useage of leisure facilities, generation of external funding, investment in and improvement to local facilities.
All contracts are operated with a local Board of Trustees, retaining local control and decision making processes. We are one of only a few Trusts who provide Sports and Health Development services, as well as facility management.
Our mission is to "Improve Community activity, health and well-being" and we focus on delivering local objectives and priorities through the delivery of innovative leisure activity programmes and excellent leisure services. We currently have considerable success in addressing issues around the crime agenda by encouraging people in meaningful activities, and the health agenda by focussing on the inactive and older persons markets.
We work in partnership with many organisations by targeting priorities and developing teams. Our focus is on progressive staff training, ownership and coaching programmes. We have a high level of innovation within our programmes and approach to business development, including the use of new technologies.
Our main priority is to get more people physically active on a regular basis. We operate with an Audit Commission recommended pricing strategy to achieve this objective. We believe our people are our greatest asset by investing time in developing our employees to achieve their potential. Our recruitment and development policies focus on our employees having a passion for leisure and customer service.

Company History
Tone Leisure's Senior Management team have been operating local authority leisure facilities for over 15 years, we have been a Trust for over 3 years and deliver excellent quality services for various partner organisations.
Tone Leisure Group Limited has recently been established as a Holding Company vehicle to enable seperate trading subsidiaries. The initial subsidary was Tone Leisure (Taunton Deane) Limited which was established in December 2003. The second subsidiary was Tone Leisure (South Hams) Limited, which was established in September 2006.
Tone Leisure operate with a Group Board of Trustees and each subsidiary has its own local Board of Trustees to retain local control.
