BOWL AWAY THOSE WINTER BLUES AT QUAYSIDE

South Hams Indoor Bowls Club at Tone Leisure’s Quayside Leisure Centre is repeating its free adult taster sessions on Tuesdays between 9.00 and 11.00am following the success of the scheme last October/ November.

 Suitable for all ages and abilities (wheelchair users are also welcome) all equipment will be provided free of charge and free tea/ coffee will be available to restore all that used energy, after the session.  

 The club is offering anyone the chance to come along to 4 sessions absolutely free of charge to see if they would like to take up the sport on a permanent basis.

 John Sims, the club’s Chairman, feels that the South Hams facility is a little known jewel in Kingsbridge:

 “It doesn’t cost the earth to belong to a bowls club and the facility here is wonderful.  We would be delighted to welcome all adults wanting to give the game a try out. It really is suitable for all ages and abilities and also offers the opportunity to meet new friends and socialise as well as compete both locally and nationally, if you have the good fortune to excel at the sport.”
