Tone Leisure provides a wide range of opportunities for those seeking their first role within the leisure sector, or for those with a wealth of relevant experience and qualifications already. Our diverse workforce include those who work in fitness, swimming, group exercise, gym instruction, coaching, lifeguarding to name a few! I'd like to work for Tone Leisure within a support role, what opportunities are available?
In additional to our front of house operational roles such as Leisure Attendants, Fitness Instructors, Swim Teachers and so forth we also have a number of administrative, sales and reception based roles which do not require you to have a background in health and fitness. Support services such as Human Resources, Payroll and Finance also operate from our Head Office in Taunton.
What "speciality" roles are available within Tone Leisure?
Our centres provide a wide range of facilities for all members of the community to enjoy. Many have swimming pools, gymnasiums, squash courts, badminton and tennis courts, golfing facilities, class studios, outdoor courts and pitches, plus creche and childrens facilities. We aim to provide diverse and interesting range of activities that are popular, new and exciting! We pride ourselves on being innovative and welcome applications from those who can bring new key skills and qualifications, or provide something new for our members. For example, our centres currently run classes in belly dancing, street funk, salsa, ashtanga yoga, pilates, poledancing, boxercise etc. Alternatively try sessions on vibrating power-plates, or in the Feel Good Factory (toning tables), or on our gravity training system!
What management opportunities are available within Tone Leisure?
Tone Leisure offer leisure opportunities at all levels within the organisation. We employ a diverse and skilled management team to drive the organisation forward and who continually strive to improve standards within our sites. At each location, under the Centre manager we employ a team of Duty Managers / Supervisors. We also have managers with specific areas of responsibility such as Fitness, Swimming Co-ordination, Activities, Events etc. Continued career development is a key focus area for us at Tone Leisure - we have many individuals who have successfully been promoted to different levels within the organisation.
