Tasch: Operations Manager

Hello! I'm Tasch and I'm the Operations Manager for Taunton Pools. I was previously working as a Duty Manager in Lincoln and was looking to advance my career. Then I spotted the Tone Leisure website and liked the sound of what we were trying to deliver in terms of the community and also the fact that they seemed to invest in staff who wanted to achieve.

I made the big move last year with my boyfriend Matt (he's now a Duty Manager!) The organisation helped with our relocation and finding a place to live and provided me with a great induction on arrival to get me up to speed with the aims of the organisation and how my job fitted in to the scheme of things.

I've received some great training whilst I've been here and believe that Tone really does recognise and invest in potential. Great timing helped but within 6 months I had been offered the position of Operations Manager at Taunton Pools. I really feel recognised for my efforts and am now putting the knowledge gained in my Sports and Leisure Management degree to good use. A strong appraisal system has committed further development for me in terms of financial training.

I feel that my careers aspirations are being met and am confident that my future lies with the organisation. I love the community feel to the sites and think that there are a number of great schemes in place to recognise staff for good performance.
