Taunton Pool
Taunton Pool in Station Road, Taunton and opened in 1976, to meet the public swimming needs of the town and adjacent rural areas, whilst St James Street Baths is generally used by clubs and schools.
The facilities provided at the centre comprise of a swimming pool 33.3 metres by 12.5 metres and with a depth of 1 metre to 3.4 metres. There is a spectator area for up to seventy people and also a solarium, steam room and vending area.
This swimming pool provides constant public swimming, but please check the timetable available on this website prior to your visit. We also have free swimming sessions available at this facility for over 60's and under 16's. You must register for the scheme at the centre to be eligible.
